A civil litigation attorney is a somewhat broad description having to do with legal proceedings for enforcement of personal and property rights. I focus mostly on the property rights aspect which I break down into my following practice areas.

Prepare, review, arbitrate and litigate residential and commercial construction contracts involving issues of contract performance, Home Improvement Contract or Law, Building Code and Zoning compliance on behalf of homeowners, general contractors and subcontractors.

Collection

Recover debts by obtaining court judgment and enforcement proceedings such as levy on execution and supplementary process

Consumer Protection

Initiate or defends civil lawsuits under General Laws, Chapter 93A in the commercial and business context for unfair or deceptive acts or practices committed in all contexts such as construction, automobile sales and repair, and landlord tenant.

Prepare, review and litigate contracts such as real estate purchase and sale agreements, construction contracts, sales agreements, security agreements, promissory notes, guaranties, automobile sales and repair agreements, real estate and equipment leases, corporate and partnership agreements and employment agreements.

Business Entities

Formation of business entities such sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation and limited liabilities company.

Insurance

Litigate claims against insurance companies under homeowners, business, and automobile insurance policies.

Landlord Tenant

Prepare, review and litigate commercial and residential tenancies and written leases.
